Furman University&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.furman.edu\/people\/kerry-sease\/\">Dr. Kerry Sease<\/a> joined Dr. Saria Saccocio on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wspa.com\/your-carolina\/wear-red-day\/\">WSPA&#8217;s &#8220;Your Carolina&#8221;<\/a> with host and Furman alumnus Jamarcus Gaston &#8217;07 (music and communication studies) to talk about the No. 1 killer for women, cardiovascular disease. Sease is the executive director of Furman University&#8217;s Institute for the Advancement of Community Health. She and Saccocio are part of the executive leadership team for the American Heart Association&#8217;s Go Red For Women initiative whose mission is to raise awareness of the disease and empower women to take control of their heart health.
