Harvey, a Riley Institute Summer Experience (RISE) intern, says getting direct input from those served by nonprofit agencies is essential to providing the best solutions for those facing homelessness or home insecurity.<\/p>\n
Over the summer, Harvey interned with United Way’s Greenville Together: A Home for All. Working with the group’s Lived Experience Council, she created a strategic marketing plan designed to challenge misconceptions held by the Greenville community with facts, data and storytelling.
