Inabinet, a professor of communication studies and a key figure in the university&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.furman.edu\/seeking-abraham-project\">Seeking Abraham Project<\/a>, spoke about Abraham Sims, a former enslaved man of Furman&#8217;s first president, James C. Furman.
