ACHIEVEMENTS<\/h3>\n

1975<\/strong><\/p>\n

NANCY COX \u201975, the dean of the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment (CAFE) at the University of Kentucky and the first-ever vice president for land-grant engagement, retired in summer 2024.<\/p>\n

1976<\/strong><\/p>\n

MARK MOSHER \u201976 retired after 43 years of veterinary practice.<\/p>\n

1984<\/strong><\/p>\n

CHRISTOPHER BALLARD \u201984\u00a0 was inducted into the Army ROTC Hall of Fame in November 2024. He spent 35 years as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Army and retired in 2019 at the rank of major general.<\/p>\n

RICHARD EDWARDS \u201984 joined the Louisville, Ky., office of Steptoe & Johnson PLLC asa counsel and associate in March 2024.<\/p>\n

1985<\/strong><\/p>\n

DAVID OUZTS \u201985 went on his third sabbatical from Church of the Holy Communion (Episcopal) in Memphis, Tenn. He spent two weeks at the Cambridge (U.K.) Summer Choral Institute coaching voice, organ and choral conducting in summer 2024.<\/p>\n

1986<\/strong><\/p>\n

LISA WHEELER WRIGHT \u201986 retired from the 380th Army Band in February 2024 after more than 26 years of service.<\/p>\n

1988<\/strong><\/p>\n

ANNE CHERRY STONE \u201988 has joined the South Carolina Department of Education\u2019s Office of Adult Education as an educational associate with a primary role of supporting college and career navigators.<\/p>\n

1989<\/strong><\/p>\n

RONALD \u201cRON\u201d CRAIG \u201989 retired from IBM in October 2024 after 29 years. He is currently a staff officer in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.<\/p>\n

1991<\/strong><\/p>\n

GARY CUDDEBACK \u201991 was named dean of Virginia Commonwealth University\u2019s School of Social Work in October 2024. He joined VCU in 2021 and has served as interim dean since July 2023.<\/p>\n

1994<\/strong><\/p>\n

MARK CLARY \u201994, a certified financial planner with McBee Avenue Wealth Advisors, has been named a 2024 Best-In-State Wealth Advisor by Forbes for three consecutive years.<\/p>\n

1997<\/strong><\/p>\n

BRADFORD \u201cBRADD\u201d PARTON \u201997 recently had five string orchestra compositions published by C. Alan Publications, three of which were selected as \u201cEditors\u2019 Choice\u201d by music retailer J. W. Pepper.<\/p>\n

WILLIAM \u201cBILL\u201d PRIESTLEY \u201997
\naccepted a position as the assistant director of student media at Vanderbilt University.<\/p>\n

ASHLEY CORDOVA \u201901 was named chief executive officer at Novocure in January 2025.<\/p>\n

AUDREY CASTELLON \u201902 was named development and marketing director of The Vashti Center in April 2024.<\/p>\n

JACQUELINE \u201cJACKIE\u201d HEARNE \u201902 is going to Japan for Senior Service College.<\/p>\n

RICHARD \u201cRICK\u201d WRENN \u201904 released his new book, \u201cA Pragmatist\u2019s Guide to Energizing the USA,\u201d in September 2024.<\/p>\n

2005<\/strong><\/p>\n

JOSHUA \u201cJOSH\u201d SLAGLE \u201905 has been appointed chief executive officer of EDGE Industrial Technologies.<\/p>\n

JENNIFER TATUM \u201905\u00a0was promoted to vice president of capital markets and leasing at Skanska, a global leader in development and construction.<\/p>\n

TREVOR CUTSINGER \u201907 has joined the U.S. Endowment for Forestry and Communities as vice president of natural capital solutions.<\/p>\n

LEONARD GALLOWAY M\u201907\u00a0has been appointed assistant superintendent for student services in Anderson School District Five.<\/p>\n

DAVID EHRLICH \u201909\u00a0was named partner at Holland & Knight\u2019s Corporate, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Securities Practice Group in New York.<\/p>\n

PAUL KLINE \u201910\u00a0began a new position as assistant professor of physical therapy at Virginia Commonwealth University in February 2024.<\/p>\n

SCOTT PARNELL \u201910 joined St. James Episcopal Church in Skaneateles, N.Y., as reverend.<\/p>\n

MICHAEL BREARLEY \u201912 was named chief operating officer at Hughes Development Corp. in Greenville, S.C.<\/p>\n
