The Shi Institute for Sustainable Communities at Furman will host a workshop on &#8220;The Art and Science of Composting&#8221; Saturday, Feb. 22, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Adams and Marsden demonstrated the composting process and showed viewers what ingredients are necessary to produce nutrient rich compost. The $50 workshop is open to the public.
