But, sadly, the love of Valentine\u2019s Day is often fleeting. And that leads to an important question: can we find a love that lasts? Furman alum Kirk Neely, who has spent nearly 50 years in pastoral ministry, met his wife, Clare, at the university, and he would answer yes. Dr. Neely\u00a0wrote about the nature of true love for an op-ed in the <strong><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.goupstate.com\/article\/20150213\/ARTICLES\/502131001\/-1\/topic0327?p=1&amp;tc=pg\">Spartanburg Herald-Journal<\/a><\/em><\/strong>.
