In her essay published in the <a href=\"https:\/\/greenvillejournal.com\/op-ed\/letter-to-the-editor\/student-op-ed-lets-heal-division-through-curiosity\/\">Greenville Journal<\/a>, she recommends looking for lower-stakes opportunities for conversations with loved ones to preserve relationships. She also urges readers to treat potentially divisive topics and discussions as opportunities to learn from others by prioritizing &#8220;curiosity over being right.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Enghauser&#8217;s op-ed was part of an annual writing competition organized by The Riley Institute at Furman University.
