Due to strong language, parental guidance is suggested.<\/p>\n<p>A review from <em>The New York Times<\/em> offers this description:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Annie Baker\u2019s play is an absolute feast. <em>Circle Mirror Transformation<\/em> is the kind of unheralded gem that sends people into the street babbling and bright-eyed with the desire to spread the word. The play traces the lives of a handful of small-town Vermont residents who gather each week for an acting class taught at the local community center.\u00a0 By the play\u2019s end we seem to see to the very bottom of these souls, and feel how the artificial intimacy of the acting class has shaped their lives in substantial ways.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Returning to the stage for <em>Circle Mirror Transformation <\/em>are Furman seniors Cortney McEniry (Anderson, S.C.) who portrays Marty, and Ardarius Blakely (Grayson, Ga.) who plays James. The play is directed by Jay Oney. Costumes are designed by Margaret Rose Caterisano.
