Duke Associate Professor of Asian Studies and History Savita Nair. Since her college days, spicy coconut shrimp from Nair\u2019s native region of Kerala, India, has been a staple of her family\u2019s Thanksgiving dinner. The class made the same family recipe that Nair shared with readers in the Holiday 2014 edition of\u00a0<em>Edible Upcountry<\/em>.
