Available at the door, tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.<\/p>\n<p>Led by Director of Bands Leslie W. Hicken, \u201cA Veterans Day Celebration\u201d is a concert in which each piece is either tied to a significant event in American History, or salutes our Armed Forces.<\/p>\n<p>The program also includes a South Carolina premiere composition by Furman Music Professor Jay Bocook, and features Percussion Professor, Omar Carmenates who leads a group of student soloists.<\/p>\n<p>Guest artists in the program are men from the Furman Singers, led by Hugh Ferguson Floyd, Director of Choral Activities.<\/p>\n<p>The program includes:<\/p>\n<p>The Star Spangled Banner, Francis Scott Key, arr. by John Williams<\/p>\n<p>Commando March, Samuel Barber<\/p>\n<p>Portraits of Valor, Jay Bocook<br \/>\nSouth Carolina Premiere Performance<br \/>\nOmar Carmenates, percussion soloist<\/p>\n<p>Esprit de Corps Robert Jager,\u00a0Chester William Schuman<\/p>\n<p>Variations on America, Charles Ives, trans. by William Schuman<\/p>\n<p>The Ramparts, J.
