Local news outlets including <a href=\"https:\/\/mms.tveyes.com\/Transcript.asp?StationID=2730&amp;DateTime=4%2F11%2F2024+10%3A46%3A42+PM&amp;u=814822&amp;e=true&amp;t=False&amp;aln=84154927\">FOX Carolina<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/mms.tveyes.com\/Transcript.asp?StationID=2725&amp;DateTime=4%2F11%2F2024+5%3A10%3A12+PM&amp;u=814822&amp;e=true&amp;t=False&amp;aln=69736476\">WYFF News 4<\/a> covered the event. Senior public health major Lilly Woo emerged as the winner of the $10,000 Johnny Flynn Paladin Pitch Award for her plant-based milk product. Alice Tyszka \u201925 won a $2,000 second place prize for Alice\u2019s Authoring Company, a business that provides editing, marketing and peer support for writers. Conor Dowler \u201924 won the crowd favorite award and $1,000 for Palate Pal, an algorithm that helps diners select wine. Three other students competed in the event presented by The Hill Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
