The local news station spoke with 2018 Furman alumna Lindsey O&#8217;Brien, assistant director of digital marketing for University Communications. She said the platform plays an important role in recruiting and in communicating with current students. But should a ban be enforced, communications efforts will rely on other platforms such as Instagram, which is among the applications in Furman&#8217;s social media stable.
