The series opens Friday, Sept. 5 at 4 p.m. in the Camellia Room, The Woodlands@Furman.<\/p>\n<p><i>First Fridays @ The Woodlands<\/i> features Furman Music Department faculty and students performing and discussing the works to be presented. The concerts are slated for the first Fridays of Sept.-Nov. and Feb.-April.<\/p>\n<p>Says Dr. Anna Joiner, Program Coordinator for Furman Partners in the Arts | Community Outreach, \u201cThe Music faculty and students are excited about the opportunities to perform and engage with the residents at The Woodlands.
