He helps people make their homes more energy efficient, not just for the winter but year-round. <b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.greenvilleonline.com\/article\/20140114\/yourupstate12\/301140057\/program-offers-weatherization-assistance\">The Greenville News<\/a><\/b> reported on the work of the CCC, which is housed at Furman\u2019s David E. Shi Center for Sustainability and offers free weatherization assistance for qualifying homeowners.<\/p>\n<p>The CCC is a grant-funded program through the United Way of Greenville County\u2019s Corps United Program, staffed by AmeriCorps members throughout the community with the mission of improving the financial stability throughout Greenville.
