\u201cIn your feature on filming near Furman, you neglected to mention a \u2018Leatherheads\u2019 location that\u2019s barely 25 football fields from Furman\u2019s back gate. I know it well, because I appear in the opening frame of \u2018Leatherheads\u2019 as an extra, and because I was a Travelers Rest High Devildog before a Paladin. My alma mater\u2019s abandoned campus lent itself to the production, and while the period wooden bleachers were removed after the shoot, you can still visit Chico Bolin Stadium, with scoreboard intact, at the back of what is now Trailblazer Park.<\/p>\n
