Nelsen said the Palmetto State represents a &#8220;make or break&#8221; primary compared to New Hampshire and Iowa primaries. Calling South Carolina a &#8220;watershed primary,&#8221; he said, &#8220;If (candidates) <span id=\"104\">can&#8217;t make it\u00a0<\/span><span id=\"105\">out of South Carolina<\/span><span id=\"105\">\u00a0with what\u00a0<\/span><span id=\"107\">we call a ticket, then they&#8217;re <\/span><span id=\"109\">not going to make it really at S<\/span><span id=\"111\">uper Tuesday as well.
