Several news outlets reported that Jalen Slawson ’23, a star forward on the Furman Paladins basketball team that beat the University of Virginia in the NCAA Tournament this year, was drafted in the NBA’s second round by the Sacramento Kings. He was the 54th pick overall, and the first Paladin to be drafted since George Singleton in 1984.<\/p>\n
