Offering a teaser for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxcarolina.com\/video\/2023\/01\/18\/75-years-greenville-symphony\/\">FOX Carolina<\/a>, Gross performed a selection from Camille Saint-Sa\u00ebns\u2019 Concerto No. 2 from Daniel Recital Hall. The upcoming concert was also featured in a <a href=\"https:\/\/greenvillejournal.com\/arts-culture\/pianist-david-gross-takes-on-a-dazzling-saint-saens-concerto-with-the-greenville-symphony\/\">Greenville Journal<\/a> article by Paul Hyde.<\/p>\n<p>A Furman faculty member for 22 years, Gross started playing at age 6 in Germany. He holds a bachelor&#8217;s from Staatliche Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik M\u00fcnchen (Munich\/Germany), a master&#8217;s from the Yale School of Music, and a doctorate from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Greenville Symphony concerts Jan. 21 and Jan. 22 at the Peace Center feature Furman&#8217;s David Gross, professor of piano.
