The $7,500 academic award is given annually to 87 male and 87 female NCAA athletes nationwide and is divided evenly among the fall, winter, and spring sports.<\/p>\n<p>The Cary, N.C. native was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team (District 4) in November, as well as being named first-team All-Southern Conference. She is a three-time SoCon Student-Athlete of the Week, as well as a SoCon Honor Roll member.
