Furman University students Ellie Howard &#8217;25 and Ella Filippo &#8217;26 were among those interviewed. Howard, a sociology major who will be voting in the Georgia elections, noted her concern over education, police and abortion issues. Filippo, whose hometown is Clemson, South Carolina, said she&#8217;s leaning toward Cunningham for governor, yet doesn&#8217;t agree with all his policies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Greenville News polls Upstate residents about why they vote.
