{"id":19677,"date":"2022-09-15T11:17:24","date_gmt":"2022-09-15T15:17:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.furman.edu\/news\/?p=19677"},"modified":"2022-09-15T13:08:42","modified_gmt":"2022-09-15T17:08:42","slug":"music-food-and-cowboy-garb-help-students-swing-into-furman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.furman.edu\/news\/music-food-and-cowboy-garb-help-students-swing-into-furman\/","title":{"rendered":"Music, food and cowboy garb help students Swing into Furman"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Furman University Student Activities Board (FUSAB) hosted its first event of the 2022-2023 academic year, Swing into Furman, Friday, Sept. 2 on Furman Mall.<\/p>\n<p>Swing into Furman is \u201can old FUSAB tradition to help new students get involved on campus,\u201d said Sam Romaniello \u201924, vice president of public relations for FUSAB.<\/p>\n<p>About 400 students came by dressed in their favorite cowboy attire and decorated their own cowboy hats, Romaniello said.
