He comes to the campus four times a year to meet with violin students, coach two student string quartets and perform public concerts.\u00a0 Preucil was featured in <b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.greenvilleonline.com\/article\/20131208\/ENT\/312080030\/Violinist-connects-students\">The Greenville News<\/a><\/b> prior to his most recent performance with the Furman music faculty.<\/p>\n<p>Furman\u2019s music program is recognized as one of the best and most comprehensive in the nation among liberal arts colleges. \u00a0The department offers both the bachelor of arts in music and the bachelor of music, a professional degree with majors in performance, education, church music, theory, and composition.
