There is a small cost to participate as a performer. Euphonium (treble or bass), tuba and Sousaphone players are encouraged to take part in the event. Details about how to be a performer may be found <i>here<\/p>\n<p>Furman Music Department chair Dr. Mark Britt is coordinating the concert and will conduct with Dr. David Stern of Anderson University.<\/p>\n<p>This year marks the 40<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of TUBACHRISTMAS concerts\/events presented throughout the world. The celebration was started as a tribute to legendary tuba player and teacher William Bell, who was born on Christmas Day in 1902.
