Kemper Fellowship for Teaching Excellence.<\/p>\n<p>The fellowship, which includes a $10,000 stipend, is awarded to five outstanding teachers at the University of Missouri each year.<\/p>\n<p>Baker, who joined the MU faculty in 1996, is a professor of literacy studies in the Department of Learning, Teaching and Curriculum in the College of Education.
