The roundtable is free and open to the public and is part of Furman\u2019s Cultural Life Program events.<\/p>\n<p>As freshmen Congressmen, the members will focus on their first impressions \u2013 biggest surprises, challenges and disappointments. The three will offer their insights about the perception that Congress is \u201cbroken,\u201d the degree of polarization among parties, the necessity of compromise in the legislative process, and how the members view the concept of representation.
