Shelley,\u201d will take place April 5-6.\u00a0 All lectures, which are free and open to the public, are held in Daniel Chapel.<\/p>\n<p>Shelley, who will retire from the faculty at the end of the current school year, has taught at Furman since 1980.<\/p>\n<p>The symposium will begin Friday, April 5 at 3:15 p.m. with three mini-lectures on \u201cWhy Biblical Theology Matters\u201d and conclude Saturday, April 6 at 11 a.m. with three mini-lectures on \u201cTheology and Society.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Furman graduates who will speak at the symposium are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dr. Bryan Bibb (1994), Associate Professor of Religion, Furman University<\/li>\n<li>Dr. Leanna Kelley Fuller (1996), Assistant Professor of Pastoral Care, Pittsburgh Theological Seminary<\/li>\n<li>Dr. Karen Guth (2001), Associate Professor of Theology, St. Catherine University, St. Paul, Minn.<\/li>\n<li>Dr. Warren Kinghorn (1997), Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Duke University School of Medicine; Assistant Professor of Pastoral and Moral Theology, Duke University Divinity School<\/li>\n<li>Dr. Donald Polaski (1986), Visiting Assistant Professor of Religious Studies, College of William and Mary<\/li>\n<li>Rev.
