Ed Sheeran performed with Elton John at this year’s Grammy Awards.<\/p><\/div>\n

GREENVILLE, S.C.\u2014Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, who is touring with Taylor Swift this spring and whose song \u201cThe A Team\u201d was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2013 Grammy Awards, will perform in concert at Furman University\u2019s Timmons Arena Tuesday, March 26 at 8 p.m.<\/p>\n

Sheeran, who also performed a duet with Elton John at the Grammys, will be joined by special guest Matt White.\u00a0 The doors open at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n

Tickets for Furman students are $5 in advance and $10 the day of the show. Only Furman students will have access to floor level seats.<\/p>\n

Tickets for the public are $30 in advance and $35 the day of the show.<\/p>\n

There is no reserved seating. There is a limit of two tickets per person, for both the public and Furman students.<\/p>\n

Tickets are available through Ticketmaster or at the Timmons Arena Box Office.\u00a0 The concert is sponsored by the Furman Student Activities Board.<\/p>\n

Sheeran began his rise to fame in the United States in 2012. He made a guest appearance on Taylor Swift’s fourth album, \u201cRed,\u201d and wrote songs for the band One Direction. His debut album, \u201c+,\u201d has sold more than two million copies and has gone platinum across two continents.<\/p>\n

Sheeran will spend much of 2013 touring North America as the opening act for Swift\u2019s Red Tour.<\/p>\n

Matt White\u2019s debut album in 2007, \u201cBest Days,\u201d reached No. 4 on Billboard\u2019s New Artist chart and Rolling Stone<\/em> magazine listed him in their \u201c10 Artists to Watch.\u201d\u00a0 He has toured extensively and performed with Sheryl Crow, John Mayer, B.B. King, OneRepublic, Third Eye Blind and Counting Crows.<\/p>\n
