Deb Richardson-Moore, pastor of the Triune Mercy Center, will speak about ministering to the homeless in Greenville and how she came to write about a book about those experiences when she delivers the High Noon lecture Wednesday, March 13 at the Upcountry History Museum\/Furman.<\/p>\n<p>Her talk, \u201cThe Weight of Mercy,\u201d begins at noon. The lecture is free, and people are welcome to bring their lunch to the talk.<\/p>\n<p>The Triune Mercy Center is a mission church that ministers alongside Greenville\u2019s homeless. Richardson-Moore will be speaking about the events that gave rise to her recently published book, <em>The Weight of Mercy<\/em>, a gritty and unflinching look at ministry to a sometimes volatile population.<\/p>\n<p>Before becoming pastor of the Triune Mercy Center, Richardson-Moore spent 27 years as an award-winning reporter for <em>The Greenville News<\/em>.
