Throughout the Nazi Holocaust, the incidence of altruistic behavior toward Jews existed only among a rare few members of society.\u00a0\u00a0Dr. Fogelman\u2019s talk explores the characteristics and upbringing of people who were willing to risk their lives to save Jews from certain death, their motivation to rescue, and how the rescuers\u2019 altruistic behavior can be applied to past and present genocides."}
