Three of Furman’s music professors were involved in endeavors that made several “Best Of” lists in 2011. A CD by keyboardists Dan Koppelman and Ruth Neville was selected as one of the best new classical albums of 2011. Percussion professor Omar Carmenates took part in New York City performances of John Luther Adams' “Inuksuit,” which was selected as one of the top 10 classical music performances by several publications, including New York Magazine.
