The Riley Institute at Furman was the subject of “Walter Edgar’s Journal,” a popular program on SCETV Radio. The host interviewed former U.S. Secretary of Education Richard Riley, for whom the Institute is named, and Don Gordon, director of the Riley Institute, about the many programs the Institute is involved in throughout the state.
