OCTOBER 27, 2011 by John Roberts, Newspage Editor Seven state teams will compete in the 2011 Palmetto Rugby Tournament, to be held Friday and Saturday at Furman University. The tournament, the highlight of the rugby fall season, will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Consolation and championship games will be played Sunday. All games will be played on John Roberts Field and the football practice field. Admission is free.
