January 23, 2023 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

“What’s Your Problem?” by Theater Delta Interactive Theater for Social Change is designed to foster dialogue and implement solutions for today’s tough challenges. This performance is a hyper-realistic situation about racism, sexism and homophobia in which characters experience a series of conflicts, priming the stage for audience interaction.

Furman’s Maegan Azar is associate professor of acting and directing, past president of the South Carolina Theatre Association, and vice president of administration for the Southeastern Theatre Conference Executive Committee. She also serves Furman as a faculty member for the Women’s Leadership Institute and as a summer adviser. Through her courses at Furman, Azar attempts to engage individual growth through theatre as a professional art form. In so doing, she hopes that students will carry their appreciation of theatre beyond the university grounds to a wider world in need of exploring the human spirit.

This CLP is sponsored by Cynthia King, Department of Communication Studies, and Rob Carson, Furman University Athletics.
