Lady Paladin Carly Burkhardt ’21 is lucky to be alive today, let alone playing outstanding golf at the Glass City Invitational in Toledo, Ohio. In 2017, she suffered a rare, life-threatening blood disorder that took her out of Furman University and away from the game she loves. Now she’s back on the course, and this week posted impressive rounds at the tournament hosted by the University of Toledo. ABC affiliate WTVG caught up with Burkhart and Furman Head Coach Jeff Hull.
