A cohort of The Riley Institute’s Diversity Leaders Initiative has partnered with the Laundry Cares Foundation to launch Wash, Rinse, and Read, a DLI project aimed at supporting children’s literacy. Through the project, Laundry Plus on Howell Road in Greenville opened its doors with a free laundry day in addition to books and space for reading at the facility. More children’s books will be added on a monthly basis, according to a WYFF News4 report. GSA Bizwire.com also ran the story with more detail about the project and its multiple partners.

DLI is an award-winning program of The Riley Insitute at Furman University. It equips leaders from all sectors of South Carolina society with tools and perspectives to leverage diversity for improving organizational outcomes and driving social and economic progress in the state.
