Several media outlets reported U.S. News and World Report’s latest rankings of universities. Furman University rose in the rankings to No. 45 among 200 national liberal arts colleges and universities in the country, up from last year’s No. 46 spot. Furman was recognized as a “Most Innovative School,” placing fourth, the university’s highest rank in any category. Furman has been included on the most innovative list every year since The Furman Advantage launched in 2016. Furman was also highly ranked among National Liberal Arts Colleges for “Best Undergraduate Teaching” (No. 29).
