Haylee Harford, a 2019 Furman University alumna and former team member of Furman Women’s Golf, is taking it “one tournament at a time” on the LPGA tour. Harford, a tour rookie, spoke to a reporter for The Courier after completing two rounds of the Dana Open at the Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania, Ohio. Despite missing the cut, she remained positive. “It’s definitely been a learning process,” she said. “But I’m just really excited and blessed to be out here. I’ve worked my whole life to get to this point.”

A health sciences alumna from Leavittsburg, Ohio, Harford was named the 2019 SoCon Player of the Year.
