Phil Lane named VP, GM of Graham Media Group’s KPRC-TV in Houston

Phil Lane, a 1987 Furman University history alumnus, has been tapped to serve as vice president and general manager of KPRC, the NBC broadcast affiliate television station in Houston, Texas. He previously served in the same role at San Antonio’s KSAT, an ABC affiliate station owned by Graham Media Group. In a news release appearing in E&P, Lane said, “I’m excited to join a wonderful local television station. KPRC is enjoying ratings momentum thanks to a talented team of local broadcasters who deliver important, engaging and enterprising content to their audiences. I’m eager to build on that success while exploring new, innovative ideas for Houston.” The news also ran in TVNewsCheck and Broadcasting+Cable.
