Better counseling or better gun control?

In the wake of the Robb Elementary School shooting in Uvalde, Texas, where 19 children and two teachers perished, FOX Carolina reached out to longtime South Carolina educator and Furman University Education Professor Paul Thomas. He said, “We should absolutely be doing better counseling, doing a better job at identifying students who are angry, troubled, bullied, isolated. But none of that is really a solution as long as there is this access to guns, and children and adults see guns as a solution to a problem.”
