Colleges take precautions amid new surge

Ahead of the start of spring semester at Furman University, FOX Carolina spoke to Jason Cassidy, associate vice president for student life and dean of students, about COVID-19 booster shots and masking. Based on word from the medical community, many university administrators believe omicron-related infection rates could peak later in the month of January with cases tapering off by the beginning of February.
