Ghosts, monsters and fiscal cliffs

In an op-ed for The Greenville News, Furman professors Jason Jones (Economics) and Tom Smythe (Business and Accounting) address the issue of America’s looming fiscal cliff.  They write that the nation’s elected officials must, through leadership and compromise, first overcome the monster they have created and then confront the real monster lurking in the future.
