Lighting and sound designer, Kevin Frazier ’07, a Furman University theatre arts graduate, snags a mention in The Washington Post for his work in the Peterborough Players’ (New Hampshire) production of “Our Town.” The play, reviewed by WAPO’s chief theater critic Peter Marks, is Thornton Wilder’s circle-of-life story chronicled by citizens of fictional Grover’s Corner.

Performed outdoors in 2021 in the locale popularly believed to be the inspiration for the original 1938 play, the production received praise from Marks for its “rainbow” cast and creative sound design. “A few sound effects — the patter of raindrops, for instance — competed with the croaking of Peterborough’s crickets. Or were they part of Kevin Frazier’s sound design, too?” Marks writes.
