No joke: Using humor in class is harder when learning is remote

Educators everywhere have found out the hard way that incorporating humor in the online classroom is a tough nut to crack. Scott Henderson, an education professor at Furman University, takes a look at humor in the virtual college world in an article he wrote for The Conversation.
