In a daily news wrap from POLITICO, “Huddle” reports on year-end congressional highlights. Among the tidbits is news about Furman University alumnus Jimmy Peacock ’16. Peacock, a politics and international affairs graduate and campaign manager for Rep.-elect Ashley Hinson (R-Iowa), will join Hinson’s office as chief of staff. Peacock previously served as a special assistant under U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio (Florida). He is pursuing a master’s in public policy and administration from American University.
