Let there be Peace

There are countless things that make Furman University’s hometown of Greenville, South Carolina, the gem that it is. Downtown Greenville boasts scores of restaurants, a thriving craft beer industry, and a stunning suspension bridge overlooking the waterfall at Falls Park. But when it comes to the performing arts, the Peace Center is the beacon of Main Street. It is named in honor of the Peace family whose members parlayed success at The Greenville News to help make Greenville what it is today.
