How do you spend $85 million in key Senate race?

With only days away from the general election, the campaign warchest amassed during the last quarter by incumbent Lindsey Graham ($28 million) and Democratic challenger Jaime Harrison ($57 million), has political observers speculating about what can be done with the huge sum.

“This is unlike anything we have seen in South Carolina before,” said Danielle Vinson, Furman University political science professor. In Statehouse Report, she offers her ideas on how the candidates will likely use the pile of cash.
