Maya Pack ’96 takes helm at SC Institute of Medicine and Public Health

Furman University alumna Maya Pack, a 1996 sociology and Spanish graduate, has been appointed executive director of the South Carolina Institute of Medicine and Public Health. Her post began on July 1. Among other roles in her 11-year career with the nonprofit, she previously served as associate executive director at the firm whose mission is to inform policy to improve health and health care for all South Carolinians. A Riley Institute Fellow, she holds a master’s in applied sociology and a Master of Public Administration from Clemson University. Read more in MidlandsBiz.
