Greenville residents tell stories of the Holocaust

The South Carolina Council on the Holocaust will mark 75 years since the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau with its observance of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day on Jan. 28. Preserving memories from that time, the council looks to Greenville’s Trude Heller and Furman University English Professor Melinda Menzer, who share stories about how they, or their families, were impacted by the Holocaust. Menzer recounts atrocities inflicted upon her relatives in Lithuania. Read more in Greenville Journal.
