Faculty Chamber presents concert Nov. 8

The Furman Faculty Chamber will present a concert Friday, Nov. 8, at 8 p.m. in Daniel Recital Hall on campus.

A Sound Quality Series concert, the event is open to the public and is presented by the Furman Department of Music. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and $5 for students.

The concert features a diverse range of music by Gustav Mahler, Jean-Marie Leclair, John Corigliano, Jerry Bergonzi, Duke Ellington and Bernice Petkere.

Hosted by Furman Visiting Assistant Professor of Theory Benjamin Dobbs, the concert includes faculty members Craig Price (bass-baritone), Dewitt Tipton (piano), Andrew Carlson (violin), Deirdre Hutton (violin), Grant Knox (tenor), Cynthia Hopkins (flute), Matt Olson (saxophone), Matt Dingledine (guitar), Ian Bracchitta (bass) and Rick Dilling (drums).
