Upstate business leaders weigh possible effects of Brexit

Brexit, “unprecedented in modern history,” could translate to “thousands of points of friction” when it comes to the British government’s process of negotiating trade deals. Furman Politics and International Affairs Professor Brent Nelsen spoke to Upstate Business Journal, citing the “intertwined” nature of economies. “So there’s going to be this long process of trying to figure out what their [U.K. and EU] arrangement is after Brexit.”
